Quoddy at Eastport. On the old road to Bar Harbor, toward the former bridge location to the mainland.

Geology:
Quoddy at Eastport: Here sea level has recently risen over a freshwater bog with trees. Some of the trees certainly were killed by the salt water incursion; however, some were already dead by this time. In response to the sea level rise, a layer of salt marsh now overlies the freshwater peat bog.
