N 44°37’28” W 67°55’02”

Geology:
Glacial Landscape: Ridge Road is an appropriate name because it is located along the crest of a large NE-SW trending grounding-line moraine. Traveling northeast on Ridge Road, the ice edge was on the left and the ocean on the right. The moraine was formed in about 75 feet of water. Note how the moraine wraps around the northwest side of the ice-shaped bedrock hill, indicating ice flow from the northwest. This moraine is part of the Pineo Ridge End Moraine Complex.
